Special Education Advocacy

FTC Child Advocacy offers special education advocacy services for families of children with any type of disability, including (but not limited to) learning disabilities, attentional issues, emotional disturbances, and autism. We help parents navigate the special education system, identify and understand their child’s unique needs, and to feel more empowered in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 process.

We will act as your personal educational advisor and cater to your child’s individual needs. Our philosophy is simple; we provide parents with the necessary background knowledge to effectively navigate through the complex world of special education. Parents will be educated so that they can work collaboratively with their school district. The end result is a less stressful, more appropriate and more successful educational experience for you and your child.

Learn to advocate for your child with the assistance of FTC Child Advocacy. Shed light on the intricate details of special education programs, accommodations, modifications and services. Walk into IEP or 504 meetings feeling prepared and confident. With our guidance and support, you will become a knowledgeable and independent parent of a student with special needs
